| For Gears of War, Streamline was responsible for modeling the NPC character group known as the stranded that are used in game and in cinematics. Additionally, we created the destroyable furniture in the game such as the ornate couches, chairs, lockers, etc. We had to create the size and scale appropriately to work as cover objects for gameplay. Since they were all destructible and interactive, they required various damage stages and physics properties to work properly. The destructible furniture provided key learning for the studio in terms of planning and modeling damage states for gameplay realism, engine efficiency, and graphical quality.
