| The challenge presented to Streamline Studios was to create a map that would showcase the vehicles in the Unreal universe while still remaining true to the gameplay that fans worldwide had come to love. The result ONS-Torlan the legendary map that was released with the demo of UT 2004 and which has gone on to become the most played map in Unreal history. Our contribution to UT 2004 continued with the commissioning of the intro cinematic. With little more than an idea scratched down on a cocktail napkin Streamline stepped up to create a real-time cinematic that would excite players and get them salivating for more. Constructing a real-time cinematic poses different issues than creating pre-rendered footage. Keeping one eye on memory footprint and technical capacity of the UT 2004 engine we created implemented and animated four different themes and compiled them together. New models and textures, light baking, fully custom animations, sound, and particle effects were all used to create the new Unreal Tournament intro.

| Some projects require the most from your production staff plus a little luck. Sinbad is one of those projects. After running into difficulties Small Rockets approached our studio with a plea to help turn around six months of work in 5 weeks. After a review of the work and lengthy discussions Streamline suggested a course of action that would maintain the quality standards of the project while securing key assets for production. Without missing a beat the production was placed back on course and reached store shelves as planned. The bulk of the work entailed character creation processing characters for animation and keyframe animating with in-game animation cycles.
