|
| Hector R. Fernandez, joined Streamline Studios in late 2001 to become the studio’s first Creative Officer. Bringing years of graphic management and design experience to the studio, Hector was integral in crafting the foundation for what has become Streamline Studios core business activity: creative Service Solutions.
By refining the studio’s outlook on how project management, customer service, and control measures were defined, he reinvented Streamline’s approach towards the videogame industry and enabled the studio’s Service Solutions business to flourish. As Vice President, Mr. Fernandez leads the studio’s Business Development unit while evangelizing and mentoring the studio’s creative and technical expertise. Mr. Fernandez also serves on Streamline’s Board of Directors and on the Board of BGIn, the Benelux Game Initiative.
In 2002, he decided the best way to increase and diversify Streamline’s development skills was to begin working on original projects. Starting with a small team of talented engineers and artists, Mr. Fernandez oversaw development of game prototypes as an after-hours project. Eventually the team refined a series of prototypes that blossomed into the original game HoopWorld.
Mr. Fernandez brings a common sense attitude towards product and creative development. Creative and technical by nature, he enjoys finding new solutions in which technology can assist in creative and business processes. Prior to joining Streamline Studios, he worked at Electronic Arts as part of the World Wide Graphical Training Department and worked as an independent graphic designer/cross-media consultant for companies and organizations including Hewlett Packard and the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. |
