Interface – a Dutch magazine for musicians and producers – and Streamline Studios collaborated to create “Soundgame Contest 2007,” a sound design contest for students. Streamline provided ‘Ghost Story,’ a cinematic it originally created for Red Storm’s Ghost Recon 2, as source material for the sound designers to score. This enabled the sound designers to showcase their skills by creating their own interpretation of the right mood for this cinematic. The winners will receive one of the coveted prizes such as computers, software, free education, and work experience.
The submissions are now closed, and it is time to get your vote to determine the winner of the contest from the five semi-finalists. Please feel free to listen to, enjoy, and choose one of the five audio compositions. Please submit your vote no later than September 9 by visiting the Soundgame Contest 2007 page.
