“Marketing & Communications” is an internal team within Streamline Studios that focuses on branding, web design, and visual communication projects for the studio and its products mainly on a B2B level.
Currently we are looking for a creative, open-minded person who would like to gather professional experience during an internship. The position is a mixture between Design and Marketing, and requires solid knowledge and skills in both fields of – new and classic – media, a background in Marketing, and web 2.0. We offer you the chance to gain practical experience, with your own responsibilities, a great team, in an environment with a highly cultural diversity.
Your main responsibilities will include Webmaster tasks, newsletters, GUIs, and print materials. During this internship you will design templates, brochures, and other materials to assist in profiling our Studio in the industry. Further responsibilities include assistance in project related research and documentation.
We are looking for a well-rounded intern with excellent writing and verbal English skills. We expect good knowledge in HTML, CSS, Flash, Dreamweaver, as well as the standard Graphics software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. You also have some experience in CMS, DTP, and you are a fast learner. You have experience working on Mac and PC. You have a good feeling for aesthetics, typography, and a good sense of practicability.
Any knowledge in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, PHP, Java, Javascript, Actionscript 2.0 / 3.0, or practical experience with Joomla, or web analytics is a big plus.
You respond well in a fast paced and hectic work environment, you focus on outcome and the goals that are to achieve. You have a good work ethic, you are process oriented, well organized, good in time management, and you hit your deadlines. You are a reliable, constructive, and pro-active personality, who can work in teams as well as autonomous.
