Alexander L. Fernandez – Chief Executive Officer PDF Print E-mail
Alexander L. Fernandez - CEO, Streamline Studios

A founding member of Streamline Studios, Alexander Fernandez has served as the company’s CEO since 2002. Mr. Fernandez originally served as the studio’s first Sales Director. Responsible for generating business for a little-known company, Alexander brought enthusiasm, endless energy, and a sense of humor to anyone who would listen. His optimism and tireless efforts in educating the interactive industry on the benefits of external content creation and the studio’s abilities helped pushed Streamline Studios to become one of the world’s leading providers of integrated service solutions. As the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Fernandez is responsible for developing and implementing the studio’s vision by building relationships with new partners and proselytizing on behalf of the studio.

Mr. Fernandez first took on the CEO role in 2002, when he formulated a strategy that focused on the studio’s core strengths and abilities, resulting in the growth from a four-man operation to an operation over fifty strong in three years. Prior to joining Streamline Studios, Alexander worked in technology in a variety of team leader and management roles.

As CEO, Mr. Fernandez helped build Streamline Studios from a fledgling creative studio into an internationally recognized creator of digital content for top interactive entertainment franchises such as Gears of War, Saints Row, and Ghost Recon 2 as well as an independent developer of its own IP.

With an emphasis on partnerships, business development, and creative drive, Mr. Fernandez is responsible for crafting and guiding company strategy and vision. He also serves as Director of Business Development for BGIn, the Benelux Game Initiative, and is Commercial Director for the European Games Developer Federation. He serves on Streamline’s Board of Directors as well.

Hector R. Fernandez - VP Business Development, Streamline Studios

Hector R. Fernandez, joined Streamline Studios in late 2001 to become the studio’s first Creative Officer. Bringing years of graphic management and design experience to the studio, Hector was integral in crafting the foundation for what has become Streamline Studios core business activity: creative Service Solutions.

By refining the studio’s outlook on how project management, customer service, and control measures were defined, he reinvented Streamline’s approach towards the videogame industry and enabled the studio’s Service Solutions business to flourish. As Vice President, Mr. Fernandez leads the studio’s Business Development unit while evangelizing and mentoring the studio’s creative and technical expertise. Mr. Fernandez also serves on Streamline’s Board of Directors and on the Board of BGIn, the Benelux Game Initiative.

In 2002, he decided the best way to increase and diversify Streamline’s development skills was to begin working on original projects. Starting with a small team of talented engineers and artists, Mr. Fernandez oversaw development of game prototypes as an after-hours project. Eventually the team refined a series of prototypes that blossomed into the original game HoopWorld.

Mr. Fernandez brings a common sense attitude towards product and creative development. Creative and technical by nature, he enjoys finding new solutions in which technology can assist in creative and business processes. Prior to joining Streamline Studios, he worked at Electronic Arts as part of the World Wide Graphical Training Department and worked as an independent graphic designer/cross-media consultant for companies and organizations including Hewlett Packard and the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City.
